In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit has been known to empower individuals for specific tasks, such as prophets, judges, and kings. In our days, the Holy Spirit is guiding, empowering, and comforting believers, as well as convicting people of sin and leading them to faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is also the source of spiritual gifts and fruits. Spiritual gifts are special abilities given to believers for the purpose of building up the church and serving others. These gifts include things like prophecy, teaching, healing, and speaking in tongues. The fruits of the Spirit, on the other hand, are qualities or virtues that the Spirit produces in the lives of believers, such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We believe that the Holy Spirit plays a vital role in the process of salvation. It is the Holy Spirit who convicts people of sin, draws them to faith in Jesus Christ, and empowers them to live a life in accordance with God\u2019s will.
